Three essential apps for travelling in-and-around London

I always post about what to do in and around London but I’ve never actually shared my go-to travel apps to make getting around with a toddler that much simpler. The weather seems to have taken a turn for the worse making getting from A to B as quickly and easily as possible that much more important. So, here they are….

For line updates and getting around

The Tube Map app has plenty of features including:

·       An oyster card balance checker

·       A route planner

·       Line status’

·       Tube maps (day and night)

·       Rail maps

For finding loos/baby changing

I used to use the Go Baby but the app isn’t available anymore so I use the NCT Baby Change app. You can actually take the time to review the facilities too to give others a heads up. The app pretty much does what it says on the tin and not much else..

You can find the download link here

For everything…..

From bus, tube and train times & closures to route planners, cab finders and more – City Mapper is pretty impressive when it comes to helping you get about. It’s also constantly updating and expanding to work in more and more cities too!

You can download the app here

For step free travel

While this one isn’t actually an app, it’s a PDF link that’s handy to have saved in your internet favourites. You can find it here
