Review: Where is Peter Rabbit? @ Theatre Royal Haymarket

We were kindly gifted tickets to see the theatre production of Where is Peter Rabbit? from Kiddo Adventures

About the Show

The show runs for approx. an hour with no intervals (so bare that in mind and make a quick toilet/snack stop before the show!). The show itself is based on the stories by Beatrix Potter and follows the adventures some of the tales most beloved characters including Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, Jemima Puddle-Duck, Mr. McGregor and of course, Peter Rabbit! As suggested in the title, we're taken on a journey in search of Peter Rabbit. The show features beautifully hand-crafted puppets and 14 songs that are bound to keep your little ones entertained.

Our Verdict

My son has always been a big fan of the Peter Rabbit franchise, he’s very familiar with the characters thanks to the CBeebies show but I was slightly worried about whether the theatre show would captivate him as much as the show does. After all the set designs are true to the stories and have a very traditional feel to them. That being said he absolutely loved the show and his eyes were guled to the stage - he loved Mr Tod the fox!

I mentioned the set before but the attention to detail on the puppets was amazing! As an adult I appreciated the time and effort that had clearly been put into designing the set – it added to the overall feel.
