Dragon Quest Mini Golf, Croydon (while socially distancing).

We visited Dragon Quest Mini Golf back in November before all of this social distancing malarkey but decided to take a trip back there since it’s one of the few things that are open at the moment. You can find that review here This post is more of an update as to what’s changed since then.

What’s different because of socially distancing measures?

  • The amount of people allowed on site at any one time is now limited. This is to ensure that there is enough room to social distance. That being said, you can’t book slots ahead of time so you pretty much have to take a risk and show up.
  • Only card payments are accepted. There has been a slight increase in the price since our last visit too (Under 4s – £3.50, Under 16s – £6.50, Adults aged 16 plus – £8.50, Family ticket – £25.00 max 2 adults).
  • All of the equipment is cleaned by staff in between each use – to ensure the used clubs aren’t mixed in with the clean ones there’s a designated drop off area at the end.
  • All of the tables in the seating area have been removed meaning you can no longer have a nibble at the end of your game.
  • There are now signs that remind you to wait for the people in front to finish putting at the hole ahead to move onto the next hole before you approach.
  • Parking is still free but beware that when we visited the car park was almost full because of the neighbouring putting range had just opened too and was super busy.
