Social Distancing

The number of people permitted within the pod at any one time is limited so it’s very easy to social distance. Your temperature is taken upon arrival and the pods are cleaned in between every flight. Masks do not need to be worn but the staff all seemed to be wearing them. For more info about how they are ensuring their guests are protected during COVID click here It’s also very important to get there at least 15 minutes early. This is because you need to get through the added safety checks and the pod waits for nobody and starts its ascension on time. If you miss your allotted time slot (depending on the staff’s discretion) you may be turned away of have to wait 30minutes for the next flight.

Our Verdict

If you ever find yourself in Brighton on a nice day, I highly recommend going up in the i360. Weirdly, it’s long enough to enjoy the views but short enough so the little ones don’t suddenly find themselves bored and fidgety. The staff were all very lovely and I’m already planning to do a kid-free visit so I can enjoy a glass of bubbly during sunset!
